1. Summary of Book

This publication aims to:
1. Inspire, motivate, empower and inform South African women
2. Help make a positive difference to the lives of women in SA
3. Give a voice to the achieving women and role models of our country
4. Celebrate achievement and inspire others to act, and
5. Show how other women too, can make a difference in their own work environment
    and in our country.

Inspirational Women at Work features contributions by 52 dynamic SA women who are already seen as role models in their respective fields. They include Bridgette Radebe, Santie Botha (Business), Irene Charnley, Pam Golding (Business), Wendy Luhabe, Jenna Clifford (Entrepreneurship), Maria Ramos (Finance), Felicia Mabuza-Suttle, Jane Raphaely (Communication), Basetsana Kumalo, Gail Cameron (Strategic Image Management), Mamphela Ramphele (Education), Susan Vosloo (Health), Miriam Makeba, Alison, Monique Strydom (Perseverance), Helen Suzman, Patricia de Lille (Speaking Out), Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Annemarie Mostert (Social Responsibility), Cheryl Carolus, Melanie Verwoerd and Angel Jones (Proudly South African).

As a bonus, special messages to the women of South Africa by, amongst others, Graca Machel, Albertina Sisulu and Oprah Winfrey have been included.
 
This promises to be a benchmark publication as far as the empowerment of South African women is concerned.
